July 4th Boat Parade
It's been a tradition of sorts for many to deck out their boats in red, white, and blue for an informal boat parade to show off your American pride. While not a sponsored activity of the lake district, it's still a good time to get out with our neighbors. If you have pictures, we'll be glad to post them here. Please send to the contact information in the contacts tab.

Full Moon Kayaking
If there's a full moon & clear skies, people often gather on the lake after sundown for moonlit kayak rides. They usually meet between Mueller Point and the large bay by the outlet as the moon is rising. State boating laws do require a flashlight for each kayak after dusk.

Harrison Hills Charity Golf Outing (cancelled indefinitely)
Through 2019, we had an annual golf outing at Edgewater Country Club. Bass, Long, Pickerel, and Seven Island put teams together for a best-ball tourney that raises funds for various charities including our fire department, among others. It was a great event that we'd like to see revived. If interested in helping to organize, contact Mark McKinley.
Fun Photos

We don't know if he was a visitor or we have a new resident in 2020, but this guy was spotted in the spring.
